Ch. Munkh-Erdene

Ch. Munkh-Erdene is a teacher at the Mongolian State Conservatory, a leading yatga soloist, and an Honored Artist of Mongolia. She is widely recognized for combining the traditional art of the Mongolian yatga with contemporary musical expression and for promoting Mongolian instrumental music on international stages.

She received the Best Musician Award at the Mungun Mod Awards 2016. She has participated in numerous international music projects, including Mongolian Ethno-Jazz, The New Soul of Mongolian Music, and Mongolian Groove. She has also performed in the Mongolian Symphony Night concerts with symphony orchestras in Baden-Baden and Stuttgart, Germany.
