N. Buyanbaatar

N. Buyanbaatar is an Honored Cultural Worker of Mongolia, conductor, morin khuur player, and educator with 28 years of experience as a conductor at the National Art Theatre of Mongolia. Alongside his work as Chief Conductor, he also served as Artistic Director of the theatre.

He taught professional morin khuur performance for seven years at the Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture and for fifteen years at the Mongolian State Conservatory, training numerous outstanding musicians. He currently serves as President of the Music Society of the Mongolian Arts Workers' Association and Chairman of the Board of the Mongolian Grand Orchestra Supporters Association.

Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to promoting Mongolian traditional music internationally, performing and participating in concerts and international festivals across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. He received the Best Conductor Award at the Mungun Mod Awards in 2022. He is also the initiator and organizer of the successful AUTHENTIC MONGOL project in Austria.
